Types of valves
Description:These are circular floating valves which rise above the deck to allow passage for vapor. The valve does not completely stick to the deck in closed position die to tabs provided on the disc.
Caged valves (KCV3)
Caged valves also contain a circular disc which rises with vapor but has no legs. This disc is enclosed in a rectangular cage which are installed on the deck viz. four legs and in a pre determined pattern. The cage helps in preventing the valve from dislodging during process operation. |
